We inspect before we quote
No phone-estimate guessing – we look at the actual panel and wiring first.
On-site inspection before pricing and a written quote before work starts, no matter where you're located – and pricing is based on the job, not the postal code.
We handle Electrical Safety Authority notification as part of the job when it's required.
We take on homes and business properties across the same service area.
Riverside South was farmland into the early 1990s – the first homes went up in 1996 – and has grown steadily since as part of the Gloucester-South Nepean Ward, bounded by the Rideau River to the west. It's a genuinely new community by Ottawa standards, still filling in with new construction.
Because most of Riverside South's housing dates from the mid-1990s onward, the electrical calls here look different from an older Ottawa neighbourhood – less about replacing outdated wiring, more about adding capacity for what a new-build panel didn't originally include: EV chargers, hot tubs, finished basements, and pot-light upgrades.
With the Rideau River forming the community's western edge, we occasionally see exterior and dock-adjacent electrical work as well as the standard residential calls.
Going from farmland to an established community in roughly three decades means Riverside South is still actively changing – new phases of construction sit next to streets that have already matured. We've worked across that whole timeline here, from newly-possessed homes to houses now old enough for their first major panel or lighting upgrade.

The price is confirmed before work starts.

We leave the site the way we found it.
Less often than in older neighbourhoods, but adding an EV charger or hot tub can still require it depending on the home's original panel size.
We primarily work on existing homes – additions, upgrades, and repairs – rather than ground-up new construction.
Yes, exterior and dock-adjacent electrical work is something we handle with appropriate weatherproof and GFCI protection.
We can assess and quote work independently of the builder's own warranty process – let us know if you're also pursuing a warranty claim separately.
Yes, that's within our regular Riverside South service area.
With construction still active in parts of Riverside South, we regularly see the full range of new-community electrical needs – finishing basements that were left unfinished at possession, adding EV chargers as more households switch over, and the occasional troubleshooting call on a newer home where something wasn't quite right from the start.
