We inspect before we quote
No phone-estimate guessing – we look at the actual panel and wiring first.
On-site inspection before pricing and a written quote before work starts, no matter where you're located – and pricing is based on the job, not the postal code.
We handle Electrical Safety Authority notification as part of the job when it's required.
We take on homes and business properties across the same service area.
Metcalfe was settled in 1827, originally known as Hawley's Corners before being renamed in 1877. It was part of Osgoode Township until the 2001 amalgamation and today sits in Osgoode Ward with a population of 1,776 as of the 2016 census. The Metcalfe Fair, held every year since 1856, is a real thread connecting the village's agricultural past to its present as a residential community for Ottawa.
Metcalfe's population centre is small, but we serve the working farms and rural residential properties around it too – a mix of older farmhouses and newer rural homes, each needing a different starting assessment.
Alongside standard residential calls, we handle electrical work for outbuildings, barns, and rural equipment that's part of daily life for a lot of Metcalfe-area properties.
Metcalfe has carried its current name since 1877, after starting out as Hawley's Corners in 1827 – a genuinely long, continuous settlement history for a village this size. The annual fair running since 1856 is a real thread through that history, and it's part of why we treat Metcalfe as a community with its own character rather than an interchangeable rural stop on the way to somewhere else.

Yes, we serve the surrounding rural area as well as the village of Metcalfe itself.
Metcalfe's mix of long-established farm properties and newer residential lots means we see everything from decades-old farmhouse wiring to recently built homes with modern panels. We treat every property as its own case, checking actual condition rather than assuming based on the village's overall age.
